PRO FOOD donates 40.000 EUR to House HAYAG in the Philippines!

PRO FOOD has been supporting House HAYAG in Cebu, The Philippines since 2014. House HAYAG is a project for socially disadvantaged or homeless children and youth, designed to raise them out of their Poverty. House HAYAG offers these children and youth a home and attends to their needs whilst financing school, college and/or university education, enabling its residents the chance of a better life. When leaving House HAYAG, these former residents and students are able “repay” the benefits they received, by contributing to House HAYAG themselves. In 2015 PRO FOOD donated a further 40.000 EUR to House HAYAG. Our donation has enabled House HAYAG to extend this project, to accommodate 38 residents, finance 45 Scholarships and to deliver nearly 1.000 food rations to needy street children per month. Through our activity in Cebu our attention has been drawn to the extreme poverty in the Philippines and we have therefore decided to dedicate our long-term support to House HAYAG!
